Coronavirus continues to spread in Albania with new cases and victims reported every day. 82 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours in 19 cities of the country, out of which 30 in the capital Tirana.

1400 persons have been reported infected with Covid-19 since June 10, more than in the whole previous three months of the pandemic.  

34 persons lost their lives in the last three weeks out of 69 in total from the start of March. The authorities said the three last victims, 65, 63 and 60, had other diagnoses too.

78 patients are currently hospitalized, nine in intensive care, with two intubated and in serious conditions.
