A luxury yacht with no one aboard and both engines on was detected today off the Shëngjin coast by an Albanian fishing ship, which dragged it to the shore. According to the documents found by the Albanian coast guard, the 13-meter long yacht belongs to a Turkish millionaire, Sevgin Yavuz, 53.
It is understood Yavuz has been on vacations in the Adriatic sea, visiting Montenegro.
A coast guard from the harbor of Shëngjin, Nikoll Doda, said the fishermen say the abandoned yacht in open sea. He suspects the owner may have been drowned or murdered.
The Albanian police have started an investigation over the mysterious yacht.
