Tens of persons, including protesters, police effectives and media staff, have been taken to the emergency room in the Hospital Mother Theresa in Tirana. There isn’t an accurate number of the intoxicated persons that have been suffocated from the tear gas used by the police and the Guard of the Republic defending the prime ministry building.

Meanwhile, two policemen are under care in the trauma room after being injured with strong objects.

The situation has been serious because of the paralyzing effect of the tear gas.
