Astrit Avdyli, one of the defendants arrested in the framework of an international operation with the participation of Albanian, US and German authorities confirmed his cooperation with Mayor of Durrës Vangjush Dako and the Socialist Party (PS) in the courtroom today.

“Long live Dako, long live PS, that is where I address my problems”, Avdyli said before the judge.

He is one of the leaders of the criminal organization that was destroyed by the joint operation codenamed Volvo 4 with the participation of German and US DEA agents.

With his declaration, Avdyli confirmed his close relations with the Mayor of Durrës Dako who has been accused by the Albanian opposition of electoral crime in cooperation with the organized crime.
