Deputy Speaker of the Parliament and Deputy Chairman of the Democratic Party (PD) Edi Paloka has commented the declarations of US Ambassador Donald Lu about the criminal groups that operate in Albania.

Lu said there are four criminal clans that control the country, saying the names of Emiljano Shullazi, Lulzim Berisha and Klement Balili.

Paloka wrote that “Lu showed Albania is under the rule of four criminal clans and 20 criminal families, but no one was touched emotionally by these truths”.

According to Paloka, this is like hiding your head in the sand like an ostrich and calls to memory the end of Manuel Noriega.

“Everyone knows how Noriega’s story started and ended. The Balkans’ Noriega will have the same end”, Paloka writes.
