Premier Edi Rama invited the Socialist ministers and deputies to donate blood for the sick children, telling them two important reasons to do so: first, it is good for their health; second it would improve the image of the deputies among people who lie to think that the politicians know only to suck people’s blood.

“I would ask for the engagement of any of you. I do not want to make propaganda, but I believe any parent would understand what I say. We, at the Prime Minister’s office, have donated blood every year. It is good for your body, and it’s also a difficult situation, with sick children that need blood”, Rama said today in the meeting of the Socialist parliamentary group.

“It would be good also from the image point of view, because people think we “only suck blood” but now they may create the idea we donate blood too”.
