Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha reacted immediately after the publication of a report from the State Supreme Audit Institution (KLSH) for damages worth €600 million from the violations and abuses of high officials in the Customs Offices and in the General Directorate of Taxation.

"The KLSH report explains in details that the economic damage caused by bad governance and abuses only in the customs, taxations and bids is as much as nearly €600 million. It is another scandalous index of a government whose only goal is robbing money and country’s goods”, Basha writes.

“Edi Rama is wandering up and down Albania asking from people to denounce those who abuse with their duty. If he really means it, let him take the KLSH report and fire and sue the officials of customs, taxations and procurements, also the ministers and other public functionaries that have caused the damage. But this is not going to happen, because Rama is personally the example and champion of abuses with duty and public properties, for his own and his clients’ interests”.
