Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha commented the decision of the city council to raise the price of tap water.  He said it’s always the same old group of politicians that continue their game now after the elections. Basha accused President Meta’s Socialist Movement for Integration (LSI) and the Party for Dignity, Integrity and Unity (PDIU) of joining Rama’s affairs.

“PDIU and LSI joined the affairs of Edi Rama and his clients to double the price of tap water and to approve the school concessions”, Basha said.

“It’s the same group of grabbed and corrupt politicians that have no mercy in robbing any cent from the pockets of their citizens. The game continues as before, only with new roles now.

The Democratic Party is the only force by people’s side, but we are strong and determined to fight for them. We will not stop and we’ll never remain silent for the protection of our citizens’ interests”.
