Former Minister of Justice Ylli Manjani said he will not accept the MP mandate after Ilir Meta will be sworn in as President of the Republic on Monday.

Manjani comes below Luan Rama in the list delivered to the Central Electoral Commission (KQZ) before the elections of 2013, but he prefers to leave to Ardit Çela the mandate for the last two months of the current legislature.

"If I am invited by KQZ to receive the mandate, I will refuse it, indubitably I’ll refuse it”, Manjani told TV Ora News.

“It’s an excessive formality, it makes no sense. The parliament still exists theoretically, but now it is the vacations month and I have planned mine. I stay loyal to my word that one does not necessarily need to be an MP in order to do politics. I’ve done it without the need to be a deputy”.
