The party Zgjidhja (The Solution) has accused Albanian Premier Edi Rama of opening the way to the waste import, after his interview on the television France 24.

Zgjidhja reveals Rama’s plan to fill the country with Europe’s garbage.

“Asking no one, with an unmatched disgust for the public opinion, he reserved to a foreign television the most delicate decision that could be taken in Albania, related to the waste import. Zgjidhja denounces the Premier’s efforts to justify the waste import with the European legislation”, the press release says. “The European Commission has already said Albania does not possess the necessary structure for the survey, control and report on the imported waste. Rama doesn’t have yet the result of the investigation on thousands of tons of dangerous waste that entered through Durrës harbor with the pretended destination Macedonia but never left the Albanian territory. He doesn’t care for this investigation, he cares only about where to bury the foreign poisons in our land”.
