Chairman of Zgjidhja (The Solution) Koço Kokëdhima said today the elections of June 25 were worse than the previous ones, bought from the Mafia of marijuana and corruption.

“According to the first declaration of OSCE\ODIHR, these elections were not at all better than the previous ones. As a matter of truth, they were much more deformed and much worse than the previous elections. The elections of June 25 were bought massively by the mafia of marijuana and corruption, by criminals, by people included in the lists of deputies, in the public and electoral administration and in the State Police. The purchase of the elections of June 25 was preceded by the rehearsal of the partial (mayoral) elections in Peshkopi. Thousands of people were involved in this state crime. So much and widely was used the money for buying votes that it has not been seen or thought before”, Kokëdhima said.

“The government that came out from the elections of 2013 did not have the will and did nothing to reform the electoral system and code; it did nothing to create an impartial electoral infrastructure and administration, which would ensure elections based on standards. The Democratic and the Socialist parties have destroyed the free and fair elections in Albania”.
