Dorian Murati of the Socialist Party continues to lead the race in the partial mayoral elections in Kavaja, to replace the dismissed Mayor Elvios Rroshi.

Kavaja residents voted for both the parliamentary and mayoral elections on June 25. After the votes have been counted in 19 ballot boxes, Murati leads with 2286 votes, followed by Isa Sakja of the Democratic Party with 1776 and Maksim Kona of the Socialist Movement for Integration with 403.
