A unique case in the history of elections in Albania! Grabova e Sipërme (Upper Grabova), a village in the district of Gramsh became the only one in 27 years of pluralism that boycotted the elections unanimously. The motive for such an unusual decision was the broken promise for constructing a road to connect the village with the town and the other part of the world.

Grabova e Sipërme is the biggest lesson on how to punish the lying politicians. It is the precedent that wipes the political class as a myth. The village showed that when you lie, deceive, abuse, steal, then you can be punished so severely that you do not exist at all even as a notion. No resident of the village was lured from the political parties, despite their efforts to convince them, promising them more than a road.
