Former Interior Minister Saimir Tahiri accused the Socialist Movement for Integration (LSI) and its former chairman Ilir Meta for their role in the electoral campaign.

Tahiri also said LSI spied on him through his deputy, which was appointed from Meta’s party. The former minister alleged his deputy Ilir Marko put a bug in Tahiri’s office.

Marko has responded immediately, telling the truth not only for the bug but also for Tahiri’s dismissal. The former deputy minister says Premier Edi Rama was forced to fire Tahiri after the pressure from the international partners, who were the ones who really spied on him.

Marko writes that, if Tahiri wants to know the real reason behind his dismissal, he must ask Rama about the ultimatum letter sent to him by the international partners.

“Poor you, it wasn’t necessary for me to spy on you, because that’s what the specialized services did and, after being convinced for your deeds, they recommended their dismissal”, Marko writes in his Facebook page as a response to Tahiri’s allegations.
