A 15-person team form the US Congress will arrive tomorrow in Tirana, as part of their Balkans urgent mission, under the lead of Bob Goodlatte, Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, Syri.net reported yesterday, .
Confidential sources told Syri that the US delegation will enquire whether the favoritism of former President Obama’s administration still goes on in Albania and other countries of the region, also whether there is still political influence from the progressive billionaire George Soros.
The Congress delegation enquiry over Soros’ influence is independent from the US Department of State, but no other details have been revealed.
After Albania, US officials will go to Greece, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Kosovo and Italy, to look into possible Soros’ political influence.
