The district of Lezha was the topic of Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha’s conversation today in the tent of protest in the main boulevard in Tirana. Basha said the corrupt government has totally abandoned the people of Lezha.

"The criminal State has deprived them of the economic assistance, which has been insufficient to afford electricity and feed their children. Anyone who is employed is under the pressure of taxes and government”, Basha said .

“Edi Rama and the criminalized Renaissance have destroyed the Albanian economy with their high taxes and high fuel prices, the jobs are closing with a tragic speed. Buying power of Albanians is the lowest in the Balkans and compared only to the countries of equatorial Africa”.

“How is it possible that the Albanian state, which accumulates more money thanks to power and water bills, which has increased taxes, is not able to offer a sufficient economic assistance and ensure at least the survival, forcing 40 thousand families to emigrate? How is it possible to buy palm trees for the highway for 600-900 Euros and not have money for the poor? This is what happens when a cast that has lost every connection to their people, any feeling of sympathy and responsibility governs”.
