Albanian journalist Mustafa Nano has focused, in his last "Zululand" program, on the huge investment on the harbor of Karpen, which has raised many doubts. Nano made a detailed presentation of the project, asking many questions.

According to him, everything is done secretly and the companies selected by Rama for the project are suspicious ones. Nano has doubts for Premier’s Media Adviser Endri Fuga’s role in the affair as well.

“I have doubts about the fact that the Star Bridge Company has only 100 UK pounds as initial capital,  the fact that is a new company, only a few years old, the act that it sold a part of its shares to another new company in Singapore (One gate Asia PTE Ltd), which also has a ridiculous initial capital, the fact that in the period 2013-2105 it has been in hibernation, with no activity. All the big companies, mentioned by the government, such as the British Bank of Investments, William Blair, US company AECOM and the exercising companies, also with a big name, deny to have offered 5 billion dollars. They say they have simply been contacted for the project and they have assumed only an advisory role, nothing more. Two of them refuse to give explanations, not a common practice among the serious companies. Everything about it make me thing this is a mysterious project”, Nano said.

Nano exposed also the role of Endri Fuga, a media adviser to the Prime Minister.  An AECOM spokesperson told BIRN that “I have nothing to add, for further information you may contact with the Premier’s media adviser”.

"This is a scandal", Nano said. "By what right is a media adviser of the Prime Minister involved in business and contacts with the interested companies?”

Nano sees Fuga as the most important person in the coalition, Rama and Meta excluded, and that creates the idea of a not adviser but a business partner of the Prime Minister.
