Lulzim Basha meeting the citizens and democrats of Tropoja: “DP is preparing to take concre responsibility in governing. Our main duty, our holiest mission since the first day in office is to do everything for the people.

With the democrats in Tropoja, LulzimBasha underlined that the Democratic Party is again in a historical mission to bring about the last wave of the country’s democratization, of modernizing politics and of bringing back the power to the people.

Liberty and Democracy have lost their meaning, Basha said, and in order for this concepts to be empowered, the citizen should be empowered, by bringing to him the power of governance with the instruments that are fit for him.

“The country has been hijacked by a cast of corrupted and criminal individuals whose interest is only one, to profit and get rich by taking advantage of the Albanians. The time has come that the Democratic Party gives Albanians the chance for a last phase of the modernization of a country, towards liberty and democracy. Just as democracy, liberty too came about because of the great need for them, out of the necessity to eradicate the dictatorship, at a high point in time, where we had no more place to go. Today, this necessity comes again. We should bring governance back in the hands of an empowered citizen, by giving him also the constitutional and legal tools so that he might define all his decisions and elect his decision makers in liberty and not under menace ore sold out.”, Basha declared.

Basha asked the members of the Democratic Party to stay close to the people, to keep in touch with the reality and to detect the problems of the citizens in need.

“Concrete problems, concrete names, and concrete human fates; we do know them, we meet them every day in our communities, but we should detect these fully. This is a political party that is prepared to take full responsibility tomorrow in governance, no demagogy, no false promises. I am telling you that our main duty, our holiest mission from our first day in office, without any alibi, is to do everything for the people in need.” Basha confirmed.

The Head of the Democratic Party explained how the budget of his government will be used.

“The budget of Albanians will be spent for the Albanians. Our objective, our purpose is that there is no family left without a meal in front of them, without water and electricity. This implies an immediate set of actions: like the payment for every family in need of the first 200 Kw of electric energy, directly from the state budget, the same thing will happen also for the water supply bills, and for the existential needs. We will also raise the social support in order to make it possible for those who have no opportunity to stay alive and help their kids, and not give them with one hand and take it with the other.”

Tropoja is suffering three years of abandonment from the government. Everywhere you meet people that struggle.

“I study at the “AsimVokshi” high school and my average in school grades is of 9.5/10. I have a request: i live in a family of six members and our income does not suffice for me to keep studying”, confessed Ardita Çelaj.

“The public universities will be opened to the next generation. The only thing i beg to you and your friends at “AsimVokshi”, of Tropoja and all Albania, is to keep studying hard! Change is coming and you will enjoy its fruits because you are the true change for Albania” reassured Lulzim Basha.
