Ambassador Donald Lu reacted by pointing again the finger at the opposition by accusing them on the Justice Reform.

He said that with the issue of translation of the Vetting Law, the EU ambassador and the EURALIUS mission were attacked unjustly and that untrue things are being said about them. Lu referred to the Head of the Constitutional Court by quoting him in saying that the translation does not have essential errors.

According to the opposition changes in translation are essential and may alter the opinion of the Venice Commission.

Prime Minister Rama who spoke in front of the ambassador said that he doesn’t expect any surprise by the Venice Commission because everything has been done according to the constitutional changes certified by it.

Rama poked the Constitutional Court by saying that he hopes it doesn’t bring forward new issues and obstacles.

The EU has admitted that the erroneous translation came from EURALIUS but it didn’t offer further explanation.
