Mayor of Lezhë, Fran Frrokaj, has been arrested today along with his deputy and many other officials of the municipality. Frrokaj, elected in 2015, and the others are arrested following the investigations of the directorate of anti-corruption in the State Police in collaboration with the Prosecution for Serious Crimes.
They are accused of alienation of land, superposing and giving beaches and state properties to different persons.
