Albanian Premier Edi Rama considered the exodus of Albanian citizens from the country – especially that of young people – as a positive phenomenon.
"No one can say this is totally a positive phenomenon but God forbid to think of it as a negative phenomenon”, Rama said today.
“It has both its positive and negative aspects. What we need is understanding every aspect of this phenomenon and not be drown in a spoonful of water and not swim in crocodile tears everyday for the ones that leave the country or in the fatality of arguments about the country’s tomorrow”.
Rama made his remarks in the conference “The challenges of the emigration” and rejected the opposition accusations that his government has caused the biggest exodus ever of Albanian citizens from the country, making them to seek asylum in the EU or other countries.
