Albanian Premier Edi Rama has criticized Kosovo Premier Ramush Haradinaj, saying Kosovo is creating problems out of nothing, starting with the rejection of the demarcation line and risks becoming the renegade child to the United States and the other partners that helped creating the newborn democratic state.

“Kosovo is “mother” to all the children born and raised there or elsewhere, but it is also a “child” of those who bombed Belgrade and backed the Kosovo Liberation Army, without which we would have no state of Kosovo”, Rama said on Vision + TV on Thursday evening. “Kosovo has managed to put question marks in relations with all these, by transporting a very dangerous oppositionist alibi for electoral intentions, such as the refusal of the demarcation line with Montenegro today”.

“I have said this to Kosovo Premier, my buddy Ramush Haradinaj. This is unfair to Kosovo. It is strategically fatal to Kosovo that, while must focus on the solution of the historic dispute with Serbia and in the meantime should keep all its friends and partners, it creates a problem, telling its friends that ‘not only are we incapable to solve the big problem, but we are capable of creating a problem that is not a problem’”.

“This is really serious and I appeal them: Pass the Demarcation as soon as possible. Do not make Kosovo the renegade child of those that bore it as a state”, Rama said.
