Shkëlzen Berisha, the son of former Premier Sali Berisha, responded today to media reports he snubbed as “bubbles” about the alleged call by the Prosecution Office.

Berisha wrote that Rama, whom he considers as the new General Prosecutor of Albania, releases public bubble calls “in the quality of the person that declares in useful situations”.

“Despite failing shamefully to offer to the public even a single fact that links me, my activity, my contacts or my income to the privatization of OSSH (Operator of the Distribution System), Edi Rama, the chief judge and new general prosecutor of Albania, sent me today a public bubble call “in the quality of the person that declares in useful situations”, based on the report done by him through the parliament. Through this bubble-call, Rama hopes to cover the €650 millions that, according to the State Audit Institution, he has stolen from Albanians money during the “honey” divorce with CEZ”, Berisha wrote in his Facebook page.

“This bubble-call of the General Prosecutor comes as a response to my two penal suits for defamation against his people and, of course, after the drug traffic scandals where his ministers and familiars have been involved”.

“It’s clear that Rama is using justice not merely as a gun against his political opponents, but mostly as a smoke bomb to attract the attention away from the crimes of the narco-state and people’s unhappiness”.

“No matter how much he tries to cover them with political attacks like fig leaves, there is no prosecutor or judge that can protect him from the theft of €650 million, from the buildings without bills and the bank turned into money laundry by his wife, as well as from the millions and diamonds earned by the drug traffic led by his brother and his former minister”.
