Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha invited citizens of Elbasan to join the opposition protest of January 27 in Tirana, promising them he is not aiming to become Prime Minister through rallies but through free and fair elections.

The Democrat leader is continuing his tour in the country, asking citizens to join the protest against the Socialist government and its head Edi Rama.

Basha has called Albanians to overthrow Rama as the last obstacle in the road to EU integration through massive protests, but added he does not intend to take the office but with free votes.
