Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha invited all Albanian citizens to participate in the protest of January 27 to remove the last obstacle in the country’s road to the European integration, Prime Minister Edi Rama.

“Criminality is not being fought because of Edi Rama. He’s the reason why no one is coming before justice, not even those who have been caught in flagrance, like Saimir Tahiri. Edi Rama is the reason why the “Escobar of the Balkans” is still at large and moves freely from Tirana to Saranda and is honored instead of arrested by corrupt police officers which are in cupola of the State Police. Edi Rama is the main obstacle for the European Albania. He has sacrificed Albania for the sake of his ambitions, his office and because of the fear for his connection to crime”, Basha said today in a meeting with Democrat supporters in Albania.

“Europe has made it clear to him, Albania could not integrate in Europe without fighting drugs first”, the Democrat leader added, calling the citizens to gather in the protest rally.
