Democrat Deputy Enkelejd Alibeaj delivered today at the Prosecution for Serious Crimes the original copy of the international insurance policy for the vehicle Audi with plate number AA003GB, which proves it was shared by both the former Interior Minister Saimir Tahiri and his relatives, the Habilajs brothers, members of an international criminal organization.

After the delivery, Alibeaj met media reporters, revealing that:

1. The international insurance policy proves the connection between Saimir Tahir and Artan Habilaj in sharing the Audi AA 003 GB.

2. The policy delivered to the Prosecution for Serious Crimes proves the Audi was shared by the drug traffickers and the Interior Minister. This means the both were responsible for and benefiters from it; and that Saimir Tahiri and Artan Habilaj had a relation of trust with each-other.

3. The policy belongs to the period April 2015 - April 2016, which includes the time of the accusation made by (then-police officer) Dritan Zagani, in Sepember 2015 and the accusations made by the Democratic Party that Tahiri’s car was being used as immunity for the international drug traffickers.

4. The policy proves Saimir Tahiri lied when he denied his relations with Habilajs. That’s why Edi Rama is anxious to do anything to stop a thorough investigation over Saimir Tahiri.

5. The testimony of Saimir Tahiri’s chauffeur in the Prosecution that Saimir Tahiri met Artan Habilaj in Greece is extra evidence that Saimir Tahiri lied. These is proof he is part of the drugs international traffic.

6. The Democratic Party encourages the Prosecution for Serious Crimes to watch the document with priority and bring to the Parliament the request for the arrest of Saimir Tahiri, caught in flagrance as co-user of the drugs car with the criminal organization of Habilajs.
