Chairwoman of the Socialist Movement for Integration (LSI) Monika Kryemadhi accused Albanian Premier Edi Rama of making efforts to take under his control the judiciary system and every other state institution to blackmail and threaten Albanians in order to keep them subordinated.

Kryemadhi warned Rama all this would came back at him as a revolt. Meeting the LSI structures in Vlorë, the chairwoman said the protests do not aim threatening or beating Rama, but to tell him the Albanians are against him.

“You can find many people in the parliament who’d like to beat Rama, even from his own party, people that are deeply unsatisfied with his governance”, Kryemadhi said.

She added criminal gangs and drug traffickers bought the elections of June 25 for Edi Rama.

“Rama has transformed the state into an institution at crime’s service”, Kryemadhi said.
