Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha called Albanian citizens to join the opposition protests to help the country get out of the crossroad it’s been put in by Premier Edi Rama and his co-governance with crime. The opposition leader said that, under Rama’s, Saimir Tahiri’s and fired General Director Haki Çako’s lead, the State Police transformed into an auxiliary unit for the drugs traffic which served Edi Rama to buy the power.

“This is a totally anti-people government. Haki Çako’s dismissal as well was nothing but a Mafioso pact between him and Edi Rama. Rama guaranteed Çako he’ll be untroubled regardless the facts that during his tenure as General Director of State Police the country was covered by drugs, the police transformed into a criminal organization, the opposition and foreign diplomats were wiretapped. By the other hand, Çako will keep his mouth shut for the terrible criminal and corruptive affairs that implicate directly Edi Rama and his closest men in the government and the Socialist Party. I ensure all Albanians this Mafioso pact will not have a long life”, Basha said.
