Deputy Speaker of the Parliament and Deputy Chairman of the Democratic Party Edi Paloka rejected as ridiculous the declarations made by Socialist MP and head of the Commission of Laws Ulsi Manja, who dubbed the opposition as “anti-US and anti-EU”.

Paloka writes one could only laugh at such a declaration, made by the descendants of those who fought against the “US imperialism” for fifty years.

“We ‘anti-Americans’?! Said by the descendants of those who fought against the “US imperialism” for fifty of course makes you laugh”, Paloka wrote.

“What doesn’t make one laugh is the anti-Albanianism of a government that is taking the country astray to chaos and destabilization”.
