Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha has condemned the robbery at the Zjarr TV offices last night, blaming Premier Edi Rama for encouraging violence in the country.

“The violation of news outlet is a serious event which shows the hard environment for the media in the country”, Basha said.

“Media in its entirety is unprotected, even more so for the critical voices to the government. The heaviest atmosphere against the media is created by the prime minister personally. Calling the TV stations, newspapers, portals and media representatives as a cauldron everyday encourages violent acts against the media”.
