Former deputy interior minister Elona Gjebrea, now a Socialist MP, has volunteered to testify at the Prosecution for Serious Crimes over the suspicions she has traveled from Greece to Albania aboard a car that was use for drugs traffic by former IM Saimir Tahiri’s cousins, the Habilaj brothers.

Gjebrea is ready to explain to the investigators the itinerary of her trip to Greece in 2014, tired of the suspicions from the prosecution, politics, and media that she has traveled with the infamous Audi Q7, which was sold from Tahiri to his cousins.

Gjebrea’s last clash for the matter was with the Democrat MP Flamur Noka in the Committee of Security.

“You cannot intimidate me”, Gjebrea told Noka, but after she left the committee she was forced to face the media reporters that asked her about the same thing. However, Gjerbrea refused to give explanations, telling the media reporters they were not prosecutors.
