Kosovo President Hashim Thaçi echoed the words of Albanian premier Edi rama for the future of Albanians, saying they will be united in the European Union. Thaçi was speaking in Vlorë, during the celebrations of the 105th anniversary of the Independence of Albania.

"We are one nation with two sovereign countries”, Thaçi said. “Two countries that have one dream, the full integration in the Euro-Atlantic institutions. Our governments had a joint meeting yesterday, today we celebrate together in Vlorë. Our two countries give the clear message that we are committed to peace in the region”.
