Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha has denounced today the construction of three waste incinerators in Tirana, Elbasan and Fier, saying Albania is being transformed into a garbage can.

According to the Democrat chairman, Premier Edi Rama and Minister of Finances Arben Ahmetaj are the real owners of the incinerators.

“200 million Euro from the state’s budget will be paid for the criminal project of garbage incineration, using Albanians’ money against their health”, Basha sai.

“Turning Albania into a garbage can was a parallel plan to the country’s cannabisation. The construction of the three incinerators in Elbasan, Fier and Tirana goes against the health of citizens, against the standards and it’s a corruptive affair. It is a corruptive scheme to cover the real owners, Edi Rama and Arben Ahmetaj”.
