Albanian Premier Edi Rama responded to Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha’s claims that the Prosecution Office and US FBI and DEA should take under control the budget of Albania.

“Yesterday I heard what my imagination – which I never lack – had never suggested before, that the project budget be administered by the law enforcing structures FBI and DEA as a project that testifies through the banking system that our program is now in the hands of crime”, Rama said in a meeting with bankers today.

“I’d like to tell those who are forced to listen to such bursts of imagination to laugh and move on because the economic reality is optimistic”.
