Democratic Party Deputy Jorida Tabaku said the Albanian government has planned no raise in salaries, pensions and economic assistance, after an analysis to the project budget for 2018.

"I hear the government’s propaganda machine speak about raises in salaries, pensions and economic assistance for the next year. The lie”, Tabaku writes in her Facebook page. “There is an entire sea of truths between the propaganda and the facts”.

“It’s a fact that for the next year the budget has reserved raises worth 1 billion Leks in salaries, which is 4.5 billion Leks less than the current, electoral year”.

“It’s a fact that for the next year the government has foreseen a raise of 1.8 billion Leks in pensions funds from 2.billion Leks in the current year, without calculating here the failure of the pension scheme in the rural areas”.

“It’s a fact that the government has no extra money for the economic assistance even though Albanians have become poorer by the progressive tax”.

“This is the truth of the budged of 2018 which reveals naked the governmental propaganda. They are planning either to half the number of benefiters or to empty Albania”.
