The Democratic Party continues to boycott the parliamentary committees, following the vote against former Interior Minister Saimir Tahiri, which is under investigation over charges of international drugs traffic.

After boycotting the Committee of Law – where Tahiri is a member – earlier today, Democrats have continued by boycotting the Committee of Economy as well. LSI deputies did not boycott, staying to discuss about the project budget of 2018.

"Shame on you for not removing Tahiri’s immunity”, Democrat committee member Edmond Spaho said to the Socialist members of the Committee chaired by Erion Braçe.
