Instituti i njohur “Future of Life” ka publikuar një letër të hapur të një grupi prej 100 drejtuesish të kompanive teknologjike më të mëdha në botë, që i drejtohet në formë paralajmërimi Organizatës së Kombeve të Bashkuara.

Revolucioni i parë i luftës është quajtur shpikja dhe përdorimi i barutit dhe pas tij ai i armës bërthamore. Të dyja këto e ndryshuan botën përgjithmonë dhe ky revolucion i tretë me robotikën ushtarake sipas këtyre shkencëtarëve dhe drejtuesish kompanish gjigante, do të shënojë edhe shkatërrimin përfundimtar.

“Me t’u zhvilluar, ato të do të mundësojnë që konfliktet e armatosura të luftohen në një shkallë më të madhe se asnjëherë më parë dhe në një shkallë kohore që njerëzit nuk mund ta rrokin. Këto mund të jenë armë të terrorit, armë që despotët dhe terroristët përdorin kundër popullsive të pafajshme dhe armë të manipuluara për t’u sjellë në mënyra të padëshirueshme.
