Tirana Police Department have arrested six persons that participated in the opposition protest on Monday and have started investigating ten Member of the Parliament over a number of charges.

Police announced the arrest of the protesters took place after they made violent acts in the square in front of the Parliament House and also resisted to the police officials on duty.

The Police Department announced also the penal proceedings for deputies Flamur Noka, Grida Duma and Edi Paloka over “violation of public order” charges.

LSI chairwoman Monika Kryemadhi, deputies Flamur Noka, Ervin Salianji, Kejdi Mehmetaj, Fjoida Kërpaçi, Klevis Balliu and Gent Strazimiri are charged with “objecting the officials that perform a state duty or public service”.
