Vlora’s District Prosecution, Police Department and the General Directorate of Money Laundering Prevention have placed under sequestration the assets of Habilaj brothers in Vlora, following the arrest of Moisi Habilaj in Catania, Italy.

The authorities have announced the citizens Artan Habilaj, Moisi Habilaj and Florian Habilaj are suspected for the criminal activity of “Laundering of products of criminal activity”.

Habilajs are relatives of former Interior Minister Saimir Tahiri, whose name has been mentioned in the phone conversations of Moisi Habilaj, tapped by the Italian authorities.
